Make Rally Signs
We need signs. Make signs to bring with you, if you can make extra to give to other protesters. Try hosting a sign making party on the Saturday before the tea party. Invite your friends and ask them to bring some supplies(posterboard, markers, paints). Make as many signs as you can, we want every one in the crowd to have a sign. Get some ideas for sign slogans here.
Write a Letter to the Editor
We’ll be sending press releases to all of the area media, but they may not choose to do a story. Help us out by writing a letter to the editor telling people why you will be attending the Augusta Tax Day Tea Party. Don’t forget to include the date, time and location and where to go for more info (www.AugustaTeaParty.org).
Get the Word Out
We can’t have a protest without protesters. Help us spread the word by telling your friends and family. Print out some posters and flyers to put up at work and school. (printable flyers coming soon)
